Yoxall church screen

Room screen made for Yoxall parish church.

Based around four old pews, although they looked identical they were made by very different Victorian craftsmen. One was made by a very skilled woodworker as every joint, detail and shaping was perfect. Two others were average and the fourth one had enough nails in it to start a scrap yard.  I had asked to be permitted to use hidden bolts to get sufficient strength, only to find that the pews were in fact bolted together already.
